<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Providence Road to close for approximately one hour between Big Bear Boulevard and Blue Ridge Road, June 24</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The City of Columbia Public Works Street division plans to temporarily close a section of Providence Road between Big Bear Boulevard and Blue Ridge Road on Tuesday, June 24, to allow for concrete pouring related to ongoing road repairs.<br /><br />Concrete trucks are expected to arrive at approximately 10 a.m. Once they arrive, crews will close the road in both directions to allow for effective concrete placement.<br /><br />During the closure:<br /><br />
<ul>
<li>Northbound Providence Road traffic will be detoured east onto Big Bear Boulevard.</li>
<li>Southbound Providence Road will be closed to traffic at Blue Ridge Road.</li>
</ul>
The road will reopen once the concrete pouring work is complete, which is expected to take approximately one hour. <br /><br />Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes such as Rangeline Street and North Garth Avenue throughout the day Tuesday to avoid delays.</div>
