<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display: inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The City of Columbia's yard waste drop-off site at Capen Park is closed due to the site being at capacity. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The City of Columbia Solid Waste Utility has scheduled to have the yard waste material at the </span><a style="white-space:nowrap" href="https://gis.gocolumbiamo.com/recycling/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Capen Park</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> drop-off site ground into mulch beginning this week.  On Wednesday, July 2, crews will begin the work.  The drop-off site will be closed to the public while grinding is performed to ensure efficient operations by the contractor and to ensure the safety of the users of the facility. It is anticipated the site will reopen July 5.</span></p>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">While one drop-off center is closed, customers will still have access to the </span><a style="white-space:nowrap" href="https://gis.gocolumbiamo.com/recycling/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Parkside</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> location and the </span><a style="white-space:nowrap" href="https://gis.gocolumbiamo.com/recycling/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">landfill composting facility</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> to dispose of their yard waste. There is no fee for the disposal of yard waste at the landfill's composting facility.</span></div>
