<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - In partnership with the Boone County Overdose Response Coalition (BCORC) and Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services (PHHS),University of Missouri Health Care (MU Health Care) will host a SAVE-A-LIFE: naloxone (also known as Narcan®) education and distribution event, open to the public and professionals, from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 10 at the South Providence Medical Park located at 551 Veterans Drive, SPMB Conference Room 2130.<br /> <br />Following the event, PHHS staff will be present to provide information and brief training for individuals who cannot attend the formal presentation. Both formal and informal training will include recognizing the signs of an opioid overdose and explaining how to use and access naloxone.<br />SAVE-A-LIFE is a series of monthly, free-to-the-public events that feature education and conversations around how members in the community can hel
