<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Columbia residents have several opportunities to participate in the City of Columbia’s upcoming budget process for Fiscal Year 2026. <br />  <br />City staff and City Council members will hold several work sessions on the proposed budget. These work sessions are open to members of the public. Each will be held in the Council Chamber of City Hall, 701 E. Broadway.<br /><br />
<ul>
<li>Monday, July 14 from 2-4 p.m.: General Fund Overview</li>
<li>Wednesday, July 16 from 2-4 p.m.: Enterprise Funds  </li>
<li>Saturday, July 19 from 9 a.m. to noon: Completing the Proposed Budget</li>
</ul>
<br />The City will also hold budget town halls where residents will have the opportunity to learn about what is in the proposed budget following feedback from City Council. Two town hall sessions will be held Aug. 11 in Conference Rooms 1A/1B in City Hall. Content will be the same at each. <br /><br />
<ul>
<li>Aug. 11 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.</li>
<li>Aug. 11 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.</li>
</ul>
<br />Lastly, residents will have three opportunities to provide public comment on the proposed budget during regular City Council meetings beginning at 7 p.m. in the Council Chamber of City Hall. <br /><br />
<ul>
<li>Monday, Aug. 18 at 7 p.m. </li>
<li>Tuesday, Sept. 2 at 7 p.m. </li>
<li>Monday, Sept. 15 at 7 p.m. </li>
</ul>
