<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">On July 26, at about 9:56 p.m., Columbia Police responded to a disturbance, with a reported stabbing on the 300 block of Park Avenue. The victim was found on the scene with injuries to their hands.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Suspect Glenn Bennett, 36, of Columbia, had fled the scene with stab wounds. He was later found and transported to a local hospital for his injuries.  Investigators determined Bennett was intoxicated at the time of the incident. Bennett was arrested for armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon. Bennet was released from the hospital and transported to Boone County jail pending formal charges.</span></p>
