<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The City of Columbia will host a new series of interactive sessions called Community Classroom designed to engage with residents on topics related to City service lines and departments. The first of these will focus on the Columbia Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) and how it operates in the community.<br /><br />The first session will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6 in Conference Rooms 1A/1B in City Hall, 701 E. Broadway. The second session will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27 in Conference Rooms 1A/1B in City Hall, 701 E. Broadway. Content for both sessions will be the same. Two time slots are offered to enable more participation.<br /><br />"We're excited to provide these sessions that cover a broader range of topics important to our community," said CVB director Amy Schneider. "It's a valuable opportunity to provide transparency around City operations and enga
ge directly with residents."<br /><br />The sessions are open to all Columbia residents. The program's goal is to foster dialogue and build trust between community members and city government.
