<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - On Aug. 25-26, and Sept. 3-4, Christensen Construction, contractors for the City of Columbia Public Works department, will perform maintenance at two City parking lots. Work will include crack filling, asphalt sealing and restriping of parking stalls.<br /><br />Each location will take two days to complete, weather permitting. The first day will be used for crack filling and asphalt sealing, while striping and curing will take place the second day.<br /><br />Signs will be posted at the entrances of both parking lots to notify drivers of these temporary adjustments. <br /><br />Public Works staff are also emailing permit holders directly. In the event of a weather-related delay, permit holders will be contacted by email with the revised work dates.<br /><br /><strong>Tenth and Walnut Parking Lot, 1000 E. Walnut St., Aug. 25-26</strong><br />Work on the Tenth and Walnut Parking Lot will begin a
t 8 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25. Tenth and Walnut Lot permit holders should move their vehicles to the Short Street Parking Garage, 1110 E. Walnut St., and park in permit spaces before this time.<br /><br />Please remember that parking in the garage is free every weekend from 6 p.m. Friday until 8 a.m. Monday. Avoid parking in any space marked as ‘restricted' at all times.<br /><br />To provide permit holders with additional assistance, the Short Street Parking Garage exit gate will remain open from 8 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25, until 8 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27. <br /><br />Permit holders should return to the Tenth & Walnut Lot starting at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27.<br /><br /><strong>Wabash Bus Station Parking Lot, 126 N. Tenth St., Sept. 3-4 </strong><br />Work on the Wabash Bus Station Parking Lot will begin at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3. Prior to this time, Wabash Bus Station permit holders should move their vehicles to either a permit space at the Short Street Parki
ng Garage or to an on-street parking meter on any City street.<br /><br />To provide permit holders with additional assistance, the Short Street Parking Garage exit gate will remain open from 8 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, until 8 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5.<br /><br />All drivers are asked not to park in metered spaces inside the Wabash Bus Station Parking Lot during the closure.<br /><br />Permit holders should return to the Wabash Bus Station Parking Lot starting at 8 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5.</div>
