<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia Police respond to domestic assault on Pierre Street</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 12:30 a.m. on Sept. 15, Columbia Police responded to a physical disturbance call on the 4700 block of Pierre Street. Upon arrival, officers located a victim who had been stabbed multiple times. The victim was transported to a local hospital with injuries that were non-life-threatening.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Officers developed probable cause to arrest the suspect identified as Lawrence Johnson, 60, of Columbia, for the charges of first-degree domestic assault, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Johnson was located in the 4700 block of Pierre Street and refused to exit the residence for nearly three and a half hours, but was taken into custody. While in custody, Johnson spit into the face of a Columbia Police officer and was also charged with fourth-degree assault special victim and felony resisting arrest. </span></p>
