<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The City of Columbia Office of Sustainability invites business owners to attend an informational event to learn more about Solarize Columbia, a community-led campaign designed to make solar energy and battery storage more affordable across Columbia and Boone County.<br /><br />The event will be held 12:30 p.m. Sept. 30 on Eventbrite at <a style="white-space:nowrap" href="https://www.eventbrite.com/e/solarize-columbia-solar-workshop-for-businesses-and-nonprofits-tickets-1661211390989?aff=oddtdtcreator">https://www.eventbrite.com/e/solarize-columbia-solar-workshop-for-businesses-and-nonprofits-tickets-1661211390989?aff=oddtdtcreator</a>. It is free and open to the public.<br /><br />The Office of Sustainability supports initiatives like Solarize Columbia by connecting residents to resources that improve energy efficiency and by promoting programs that make renewable energy adoption more accessible.<b
r /><br />Solarize Columbia is a group-purchasing program that helps residents, businesses, and nonprofits reduce costs by investing in renewable energy together. The coalition includes the Sierra Club - Mid Missouri Group, Mid-Missouri Peaceworks, Renew Missouri, League of Women Voters of Columbia-Boone County and Solar Crowdsource.
