<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Since Oct. 7, E.M. Harris Construction, contractors for the City of Columbia Stormwater Utility, have been performing stormwater management work outside 308 Park Ave. as part of the Park Avenue housing project.<br /><br />The closure of Park Avenue between North Providence Road and North Fifth Street, originally announced for Oct. 7-9, has been extended until Friday, Oct. 31.<br /><br />Crews are continuing installation of the stormwater system and replacement of concrete in the work zone. Road closure and detour signs will remain posted throughout the area.<br /><br />Sidewalks run along both sides of Park Avenue. To maintain pedestrian access, the contractor will keep one sidewalk open at all times, alternating as needed depending on where work is taking place.<br /><br />Additional closures on Park Avenue between North Fifth and North Seventh streets, as well as between North Seventh and North E
