<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Columbia Regional Airport (COU) is celebrating a major milestone in passenger growth, recording 11,306 departing passengers in September, which represents the highest monthly total since December 2019.<br /><br />In total, 21,534 passengers arrived at and departed from COU in September through American Airlines service alone, reflecting strong community support and the region's increasing demand for convenient, local air travel options. <br /><br />With the addition of United Airlines' flights to Chicago O'Hare and Denver on Sept. 25, total passenger numbers are expected to exceed 22,000, marking the highest monthly total in recent years. <br /><br />"These numbers highlight the momentum we're seeing at COU and the confidence travelers have in choosing their local airport," said Airport Manager Michael Parks. "As we continue to expand our service and improve the passenger experience, we're thrilled
