<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display: inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Correction: This press release was missing the date of the clinic, Oct. 21<br /><br />Walk-in flu and COVID-19 vaccine clinics in and around the community are back this year. This week, Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services (PHHS) will be at the Hallsville Community Center located at </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">324 E. Hwy OO on Oct. 21 from 3:30-6:30 p.m.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The updated flu vaccine will be available to all residents, with or without insurance. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">A high-dose flu shot is available specifically for those aged 65 and older. For self-pay residents, the cost of the flu vaccine is $40 and the cost of the high-dose flu vaccine for those aged 65 and older is $85.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Residents with insurance can receive the COVID-19 vaccine for ages 6 months and older. PHHS is working with the State of Missouri to secure the COVID-19 vaccine for uninsured individuals. For self-pay residents, the COVID vaccine is $125.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The PHHS clinic accepts cash, credit cards, debit cards, checks and can bill various insurance plans through a system known as VaxCare. PHHS </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">is out of network for some insurance plans. Please check with your insurance company for more information.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Receipts will be available upon request. </span></p></div>
