<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - As part of ongoing work on the East Park Avenue Apartments project, the intersection of Park Avenue and North Seventh Street will be closed beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5.<br /><br />A <a style="white-space:nowrap" href="https://www.como.gov/CMS/pressreleases/view.php?id=9443">previous release</a> stated that Park Avenue is closed between North Seventh and Eighth streets for water line connections from Oct. 30 through Nov. 20. Crews with Emery Sapp & Sons, contractor for the Columbia Housing Authority, now need to close the nearby intersection to complete additional water line connections.<br /><br />The sidewalk on the north side of Park Avenue between North Seventh and Eighth streets will remain closed. The south sidewalk will stay open and signs will direct pedestrians to safe crossing points.<br /><br />Go COMO Orange and Gold routes will now detour around the closure using Eighth, A
 sh and Fifth streets. No bus stops will be affected.<br /><br />The intersection of Park Avenue and North Seventh Street is expected to reopen by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12. After that point, Park Avenue will remain closed between North Seventh and Eighth streets until 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, weather permitting.</div>
