<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The City of Columbia has started a new series of interactive sessions called Community Classroom, designed to engage with residents on topics related to City service lines and departments. <br /><br />This month’s session will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19 at the Columbia Fire Department’s Training Academy, 700 Big Bear Blvd. It will feature a presentation from Columbia firefighters on Thanksgiving fire safety followed by a safety demonstration.<br /><br />Participants are asked to register at the following link to ensure enough refreshments are available: https://forms.gle/wmZv57nnJvEKANnY9.<br /><br />The Community Classroom series is hosted by the City’s Community Connectors program. The program’s goal is to foster dialogue and build trust between community members and city government. To learn more, visit CoMo.gov/Connect.<br /><br /><em>Members of the p
