<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Top floors of Fifth and Walnut and Short Street Parking Garages closed to parking, Nov. 24-March 23</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Starting at 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24, the top floors of the Fifth and Walnut Parking Garage, 500 E. Walnut St. and the Short Street Parking Garage, 1110 E. Walnut St., will close to all vehicle traffic and parking.<br /><br />These closures occur each year as part of winter operations. Keeping the top levels clear allows Parking Utility staff to manage snow events more effectively. Chains and cones will block access during this period.<br /><br />Parking Utility staff has confirmed that the lower levels will continue to offer enough space for both hourly and permit parkers.<br /><br />The top floors are expected to reopen Monday, March 23, 2026, weather permitting. The Parking Utility appreciates everyone's cooperation.</div>
