<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Vandiver Drive reopens Nov. 21 following stormwater upgrade</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">Beginning Friday, Nov. 21, the Stormwater Utility will be reopening Vandiver Drive through traffic between Sylvan Lane and Nelwood Drive.</p>
<p>The road is opening after the completion of a major infrastructure upgrade designed to prevent future flooding in the area. The project involved replacing eight existing stormwater inlets and pipes with 10 new inlets, six stormwater structures and approximately 2,080 feet of new stormwater pipe along Vandiver Drive and Sylvan Lane. The new system is designed to significantly improve drainage by connecting to a regional detention basin.</p>
<p>The City of Columbia Stormwater Utility thanks residents and motorists for their patience and cooperation during the construction period.</p>
