<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Whitegate Drive has been identified by a traffic study as having vehicles operating at speeds higher than desirable. The City of Columbia Public Works department has scheduled an informal open house meeting concerning traffic calming on Whitegate Drive. The meeting will be held from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, at the Reentry Opportunity Center (ROC), 1621 Towne Drive.<br /><br />At the meeting, information and diagrams will be available for public review and City engineering staff will be present to answer questions. The website for this traffic calming project can be found at <a style="white-space:nowrap" href="https://beheard.como.gov/whitegate-drive-traffic-calming">BeHeard.CoMo.gov/Whitegate-Drive-traffic-calming</a>. Public comments will be accepted at the meeting and can be left on the BeHeard webpage through Dec. 31. Comments will be considered as the designs are developed.<br /><br /><em>Mem
