<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At about 10:50 p.m. on Nov. 29, Columbia Police responded to a shots fired call at the 5600 block of Lightpost Court. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Initial investigations led officers to the 200 block of Sievelle Avenue, where they found the suspect, Rodquel Jones, 21, of Columbia. Jones barricaded himself in his home and refused to come out. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">CPD’s SWAT responded and took Jones into custody. Detectives obtained a search warrant and found additional evidence of the crime. Jones was arrested for felony stealing, felony resisting arrest, armed criminal action, harassment of the first-degree and unlawful use of a weapon.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Columbia Police Department would like to thank the Boone County Sheriff's Department, Columbia Fire Department, Boone County Fire Department, Columbia Transit, University Hospital and the citizens of Columbia for being patient during this incident. </span></p>
