<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - A section of Silvey Street between I-70 Drive Southwest and the preschool entrance at the top of the hill will remain closed during the winter months.<br /><br />The steep grade on the north end of Silvey Street often becomes slick during cold weather, creating hazardous conditions with little warning. Keeping this segment closed through the season supports safer travel in the area.<br /><br />Drivers can use North Stadium Boulevard or Route ZZ as alternate routes to reach West Worley Street.<br /><br />Silvey Street will be reopened in spring 2026 when there is no longer the threat of winter weather.</div>
