<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, Emery Sapp and Sons, contractor for the Columbia Housing Authority, will close North Fifth Street between Park Avenue and East Ash Street. <br /><br />The closure will allow crews to complete water line connections for the East Park Avenue Apartments. As a review, press releases issued <a style="white-space:nowrap" href="https://www.como.gov/CMS/pressreleases/view.php?id=9418">Oct. 3</a>, <a style="white-space:nowrap" href="https://www.como.gov/CMS/pressreleases/view.php?id=9425">Oct. 9</a>, <a style="white-space:nowrap" href="https://www.como.gov/CMS/pressreleases/view.php?id=9443">Oct. 27</a> and <a style="white-space:nowrap" href="https://www.como.gov/CMS/pressreleases/view.php?id=9463">Nov. 4</a> announced earlier road closures in the Park Avenue area for the same project.<br /><br />Detour signs will direct motorists to use North Seventh Street. Go 
 COMO's Orange and Gold routes, which turn from Park Avenue onto North Fifth Street, will not be affected.<br /><br />At least one of the two sidewalks adjacent to the work zone will remain open throughout the project. When a sidewalk along North Fifth Street must close, signs will direct pedestrians to designated crossing points.<br /><br />Crews expect to finish the work and reopen North Fifth Street by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, weather permitting.</div>
