<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Beginning at 7 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, the eastbound lane of East Walnut Street between North Eighth and Ninth streets will temporarily close in front of the Guitar Building, 28 N. Eighth St. The closure will allow contractor crews to repair the full length of the parapet wall on the north side of the building and secure the exterior.<br /><br />Sidewalks will remain open. Detour signs will be posted to guide traffic around the closure area.<br /><br />The first phase of work along North Eighth Street was completed Wednesday, Jan. 14.<br /><br />Work is expected to be completed by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, weather permitting.</div>
