<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, Gerlach Construction will replace the roof of Brookside Downtown, 219 S. Ninth St. To safely stage equipment and materials for this work, portions of South Tenth and Locust streets, along with adjacent sidewalks, will be closed.<br /><br /><strong>Road closures</strong><br /><br />
<ul>
<li>South Tenth Street between Elm and Locust streets</li>
<li>Locust Street between South Tenth and Hitt streets</li>
</ul>
<strong>Sidewalk closures</strong><br /><br />
<ul>
<li>East sidewalk of South Tenth Street between Elm and Locust streets</li>
<li>South sidewalk of Locust Street between South Tenth and Hitt streets</li>
</ul>
Detour signs will direct drivers around the closure using nearby streets. Pedestrians will be guided to safe crossing locations and open sidewalks on the opposite sides of the streets. "No parking" signs will be placed on affected meters at least 24 hours before work begins.<br /><br />Work is expected to be completed and the roads and sidewalks reopened by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, weather permitting.</div>
