<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The City of Columbia will host its second annual Community Summit Saturday, March 14. Focused on providing residents an opportunity to shape the City's future by sharing their input and ideas, the event will be held 9 a.m. to noon at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway.<br /><br />Community Summit is a free and family-friendly event where residents can drop in at any time to explore interactive booths and learn about current and future City initiatives. We invite our 2025 Summit attendees to join us once again. With fresh content every year, there is always something new to discover.<br /><br />Booths will be aligned with the five strategic goals outlined in the City's Strategic Plan, allowing residents to learn more about current City programs while providing valuable feedback on their priorities. <br /><br />Residents can provide feedback on major City services, potential improvements and other topics at 
 each booth. They will also have the chance to use "CoMo Bucks" play money to vote for which areas they think deserve additional funding, input that will help inform City staff or City Council on future decisions. Options are also available for children to provide feedback as well.<br /><br />"Our first Community Summit in 2025 was a great success," said City Manager De’Carlon Seewood. "We took the input received and implemented changes and new initiatives from that event, and I look forward to doing the same with the feedback we receive at this year’s event."<br /><br />Entertainment for the event will include performances from dance groups Jabberwocky Studios, TRYPS Children’s Theatre and Compass Music. Snacks will also be provided. Metered parking enforcement will be suspended March 14 and parking garages will be free.<br /><br />Attendees who share additional feedback at the event will also be eligible to receive free Community Summit swag (whil
