<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">City of Columbia Utilities to host water conservation demonstration for EPA's Fix-a-Leak Week</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">City of Columbia Utilities will host two events to teach members of the public about water conservation measures as the City of Columbia participates in the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Fix-a-Leak Week.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Utilities staff will host an event from 10 a.m. to noon March 18 at the Food Bank, 705 Business Loop 70 West. The second event will be from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 - 3 p.m. March 19 at City Hall, 701 East Broadway.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Utilities staff will lead demonstrations on repairing leaking toilets as well as other information and activities to teach customers how to find and fix leaks. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">EPA’s Fix-a-Leak Week encourages Americans to help put a stop to the nearly 1 trillion gallons of water wasted from household leaks each year. Leaks can account for nearly 10,000 gallons of water in an average home every year - the amount of water it takes to wash 300 loads of laundry.</span></p></div>
