<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Lane closures due to road work on North Garth Avenue and South Fairview Road, March 23-27</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The week of March 23, City of Columbia Public Works Street division crews will perform road work at two locations:<br /><br />
<ul>
<li>North Garth Avenue between Parkade Boulevard and East Craig Street, in front of Parkade Elementary School</li>
<li>South Fairview Road near Malibu Court, in front of the Fairview Park tennis courts</li>
</ul>
Crews will replace sections of failed concrete pavement at both locations. Work will include removing deteriorated concrete and pouring new concrete panels.<br /><br />At each location, one lane will remain open to traffic. Flaggers and signs will guide vehicles through the work zones. Drivers should expect delays, use caution and consider alternative routes when possible.<br /><br />Work on North Garth Avenue is expected to take one day. Work on South Fairview Road is expected to take two days. <br /><br />Concrete work is sensitive to rain and temperature. If weather causes delays, crews will work as conditions allow. If weather remains favorable:<br /><br />
<ul>
<li>Work on North Garth Avenue will begin at 7 a.m. Monday, March 23, and be completed by 5 p.m. the same day.</li>
<li>Work on South Fairview Road will begin at 7 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, and be completed by 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 25.</li>
</ul>
If delays occur, work may continue throughout the remainder of the week, with all lanes expected to reopen by 5 p.m. Friday, March 27, weather permitting.</div>
