<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At about 3 p.m. April 16, Columbia Police attempted to arrest Brian Strickland, 58, of Columbia, for first-degree stalking in the 1500 block of Parkade Boulevard when Strickland barricaded himself inside a residence. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strickland made suicidal and homicidal threats during the standoff, and it was believed that he had a weapon. The Columbia Police Crisis Negotiation and SWAT teams safely brought Strickland into custody at about 7:45 p.m. </span></p>
