<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia Police respond to bomb threat in 400 block of Conley Road, April 23</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">At approximately 1:09 p.m., officers responded to a report of a bomb threat in the 400 block of Conley Road. </p>
<p>Initial information indicated pipe bombs had been planted inside of a business. Upon arrival, officers contacted management and coordinated an orderly evacuation while assisting customers and employees as they exited. A controlled evacuation of vehicles in the parking lot was also conducted. City of Columbia buses were requested to provide a temporary shelter for employees during the investigation.</p>
<p>A Columbia Police Department K-9 explosives dog and bomb technician searched the building and found no explosives. No additional threats were reported or observed. The property was cleared about 3:30 p.m., and officers escorted staff back inside.</p>
<p>We would like to thank the Ashland Police Department for their assistance with crowd and traffic control.</p>
<p>There is no current threat to the public. The investigation is ongoing.</p>
