<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Road work on East Green Meadows Road and Veterans United Parkway will now take place Monday, May 4, and Wednesday, May 6. This updates the previously announced schedule.<br /><br />Engineering Surveys and Services will perform pavement testing on behalf of the City of Columbia Public Works department. The work is part of preparation for a future capital improvement project, with construction anticipated in 2027-28.<br /><br />Work will begin at 5:30 a.m. and conclude by 7 p.m. each day. During this time, driving lanes will shift to allow traffic to use center turn lanes while testing is underway.<br /><br />Drivers are urged to use caution in the area and watch for workers and equipment.<br /><br />Original press release: <a style="white-space:nowrap" href="https://www.como.gov/CMS/pressreleases/view.php?id=9677">CoMo.gov/CMS/pressreleases/view.php?id=9677</a></div>
