<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">On May 4, Columbia Police arrested Dariell Deshell Smith, 33, of Columbia, in connection with a stabbing that occurred in the 4500 block of Rice Road. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Smith was arrested on charges of first-degree domestic assault and armed criminal action. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Police officers responded to the stabbing call at about 2:30 a.m. and found that Smith had assaulted an adult male victim with a knife during a domestic disturbance. The victim was taken to a local hospital for injuries sustained in the stabbing and is in stable condition.  </span></p>
