<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia Fire Department responds to commercial structure fire, Sept. 8</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">On Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 3:19 a.m., Columbia Fire Department (CFD) companies were dispatched to a commercial structure fire in the 4500 block of North Highway 763.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">CFD arrived within five minutes to find a large office trailer heavily involved in flames that were spreading to adjacent trailers. Arriving firefighters immediately began a full fire attack and simultaneously searched for potential occupants as more companies arrived.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The incident was under control within approximately 20 minutes of CFD arrival.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">No occupants were inside at the time of CFD arrival, and firefighter searches confirmed no victims. There were no reported injuries.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A total of six fire companies, two chief officers, one safety captain and one fire marshal with 23 personnel responded to this incident.<br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Columbia Fire Marshal's Battalion investigated the origin and cause of the fire and determined the probable cause was an accidental electrical fire.</span></p></div>
