<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At 11 p.m. on Sept. 23, Columbia Police received calls for three subjects entering vehicles in the Columbia College parking lots. Later, officers received additional calls of individuals going through vehicles in the 4800 block of Paris Road. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Around 2:23 a.m., officers responded to an armed carjacking. A victim reported being assaulted by multiple suspects, threatened with a firearm and having their vehicle stolen. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Using Flock Safety cameras, Columbia Police detectives were able to identify a second stolen vehicle involved in both the carjacking and the burglary of multiple vehicles. Through the investigation and more help from Flock, CPD was able to identify suspects and locate the stolen vehicles. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The two suspects were arrested near the 500 block of North College Avenue. CPD executed a search warrant at the residence, and evidence of the crimes was located. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police arrested both J'Marion Dalton and Emmanuel Ernest, 19, of Columbia, for 10 counts of burglary in the second-degree, stealing a motor vehicle and vehicle hijacking. Dalton was additionally arrested for armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.</span></p>
