<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, Emery Sapp & Sons, contractor for the Columbia Housing Authority, will close Park Avenue between North Fifth and North Seventh streets. The closure is necessary for storm sewer installation as part of the East Park Avenue Apartments project.<br /><br />Detour signs will direct drivers to use East Ash Street. Go COMO's Orange and Gold routes will detour via North Seventh Street, East Ash Street and North Fifth Street to bypass the closure area. No bus stops will be closed or affected during construction.<br /><br />At least one sidewalk adjacent to the work zone will remain open at all times. If a sidewalk along Park Avenue must temporarily close, signs will direct pedestrians to designated crossing points.<br /><br />Work is expected to be completed and Park Avenue reopened by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, weather permitting.</div>
