<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services (PHHS) invites community members of all ages to its first annual open house event on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1005 W. Worley St. Centered on the theme "Keeping the Community in the Game," this free event is open to the public.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Attendees can meet public health staff, ask questions and learn how PHHS works daily to protect and improve health across Boone County. The open house features games and activities for all ages and guided tours of the Health on Wheels van.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In addition, on-site flu vaccinations will be available. Attendees planning to receive a flu shot should preregister at </span><a style="white-space:nowrap" href="http://patients.vaxcare.com/registration"><span style="font-weight: 400;">patients.vaxcare.com/registration</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> using Clinic Code MO16926. For those with insurance, please bring identification and insurance card with you on the day of the open house.</span></p>
