<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px; margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">City to hold Oct. 15 joint open house on East Green Meadows Road and East Nifong Boulevard roundabout, Pershing Road sidewalk projects</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The City of Columbia Public Works Department will host an informal open house regarding two upcoming infrastructure projects from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, in Conference Rooms 1A and 1B of City Hall, 701 E. Broadway.<br /><br />The joint meeting will allow residents to learn about both projects in a single open space. City engineering staff will be on hand to share design concepts, answer questions and gather public input for both proposals.<br /><br /><strong>East Green Meadows Road and East Nifong Boulevard Roundabout</strong><br />Staff will share design concepts for a proposed roundabout at the intersection of East Green Meadows Road (formerly State Farm Parkway) and East Nifong Boulevard. The project also includes major pavement and sidewalk maintenance along East Green Meadows Road and Veterans United Drive. Construction is currently scheduled to begin in summer 2028.<br /><br />Information a
nd online public comment forms are available at <a style="white-space:nowrap" href="https://beheard.como.gov/Nifong-Roundabout">BeHeard.CoMo.gov/Nifong-Roundabout</a>.<br /><br /><strong>Pershing Road Sidewalk Project</strong><br />Staff will share design concepts for constructing a new sidewalk along the east side of Pershing Road between Gary Street and Again Street Park.
