Columbia Parks and Recreation's 50+ Explorers are planning all kinds of community trips in the coming weeks! Group outings leave from the Stephens Lake Activity Center (2311 E. Walnut) and return there. For more information or to register, call 874-7475 or email dsr at GoColumbiaMo.com.

Price: $5, leave at 9:45 am, return 1-1:30 pm
Tour the limestone underground storage at the Columbia Quarry. Afterward enjoy lunch together at G&D. Price does not include lunch.
Thursday, August 14 - Grayson Archery Collection
Price: $5, leave at 10 am, return 1-1:30 pm
Be amazed at the Grayson Archery Collection housed at the Univ of MO Anthropology Museum Support Center on Rock Quarry Rd. More than 5000 pieces from cultures of Africa,
Asia, the Americas, Indonesia, and the South Pacific span thousands of years. The Summer 2008 issue of Mizzou has an article and GREAT pictures! Ask to see our office copy. Lunch
