[Adult Basketball Announcements]

March is Women's Month; and March also brings us March Madness!


In honor of Women's Month, Columbia Parks & Recreation is hosting a Ladies
3 on 3 basketball tournament.  So, gather your friends, co-workers, church
mates and family for a good time playing basketball against others from the
Columbia area. The format of the tournament is as follows:


~Double elimination

~Half court

~20 minute running clock

~For all ladies from ages 15 to adult

~Maximum of 16 teams


Each team roster must have at least 3 players, but no more than 5. Team
entry fees are only $60 per team. There will be medals for 1st, 2nd, and
3rd place teams as well as an award for the tournament MVP.



Event details are:

Armory Sports & Community Center (701 E. Ash St)

Saturday, March 17th

Starting at 9:00 am.


Registration forms and tournament rules

 are available online, and registrations are to be turned in to the Parks &
Recreation downtown office (1 S. 7th St.) or the Armory Sports & Community
Center (701 E. Ash St.).  The registration deadline is Friday, March 16th
by 5pm. Online registration is available at www.CoMo.gov/ParksandRec or you
can register over the phone at 573-874-7460
