[Adult Softball Announcements]

Good Morning,

On July 6, the Columbia City Council passed an ordinance requiring everyone
age 10 and older to wear face masks in public and private settings. The
ordinance will take effect at 5 p.m. on Friday, July 10 and will remain in
effect for 90 days unless it is extended, rescinded, superseded or
amended.

The ordinance listed or identified a number of exempted activities,
including engaging in sporting activities. However, there are times when a
mask will be required.

The following times are when YES, masks are REQUIRED:

   -

   When sitting in the dugout and not able to keep social distance of at
   least 6 feet
   -

   When entering or exiting the complex and not able to keep social
   distance of at least 6 feet
   -

   Spectators or players who are not seated (concession stand lines,
   restrooms, etc.)
   -

   Plate umpires not able to socially distance from the catcher
   -

   Coaches who are not engaged in physical activity and not able to keep
   social distance of at least 6 feet


The following times are when NO, masks are NOT REQUIRED:

   -

   When players are on the field of play, physically active in the sport
   -

   When field umpires are officiating a game
   -

   When spectators are in their seats, if they are socially distanced from
   others not in their household
   -

   If under the age of 10 years old


Please help us maintain compliance with the ordinance by continuing to
follow social distancing at the ballfields. We appreciate your
