[Bonnie View Property/Fairview Park Planning]

At the March 21, 2011 Council Meeting, the City Council officially named the 90-acre property adjacent to Fairview Park - Bonnie View Nature Sanctuary. The City Council also approved the master plan for the park and authorized the construction to proceed.

At the April 4, 2011 Council Meeting an ordinance will be introduced that would amend Chapter 17 to restrict dogs and cycles in the Bonnie View Nature Sanctuary. Opportunity for public discussion and any official City Council action will take place at the April 18, 2011 Council Meeting. A link to the ordinance under consideration is below.

Related Item: Scott's Branch Trail
At the March 21, 2011 Council Meeting, the City Council decided to refer the Scott's Branch Trail development project (trail from Bonnie View to MKT, with connection at Gillespie Bridge Rd) to the Bicycle/Pedestrian Commission.
