ATTENTION  ARTS  ORGANIZATIONS...

upcoming arts funding deadlines!
A reminder that the final deadline for the city's annual arts funding
process is Friday, May 7.  Applications must be in the OCA by 5:00 p.m.
that day.  This is not a postmark deadline -- if you mail your
application, please allow additional time for the city's mail room to
process items after the Post Office does so.  Late applications cannot
be considered.

The next deadline for Small Request funding is approaching as
well...applications for the fourth quarter, July - Sept., are due June
10th at 5:00 p.m. They will be reviewed at the July meeting of the
Commission on Cultural Affairs. For more info. or for an application,

missouri arts council news
The Missouri Arts Council (MAC) has a new interim director, Mary
McElwain, and a new Council Chair, Betty Wilson, of Columbia.  Help us
welcome them both to their new positions, Tuesday, May 25, noon,
location to be determined.  The lunch meeting will be very informal and
is meant as an opportunity for Columbia arts organizations to get to
know the new MAC leadership. Watch for an invitation with more specifics
in the coming weeks.
