OOOOOPS.....I sent out the wrong update....if you received the first

The Commission on Cultural Affairs will not meet in December...
The Commission is taking a holiday break! Their regular monthly
meetings will start up again on Jan. 9, 4:15 p.m. in the mezzanine
conference room of the Daniel Boone Building, 701 E. Broadway;
Commission meetings are always open to the public.

MISSOURI ARTS COUNCIL GRANT INFO.
The Missouri Arts Council will present a grant workshop on Tues., Dec.
6 at the ARC, 1701 W. Ash, 3 - 5 p.m. Participants will get several
handouts including tips on preparing support materials and the review
form used by panelists. MAC staff will be on hand before and after the
workshop to answer specific questions. The session is free but
reservations are requested - email oca at GoColumbiaMo.com or call

ARTS INPUT!
The Missouri Arts Council is updating its strategic plan and wants to
hear from you. Take part in a "town hall meeting" on Wed., Dec. 6, 7
p.m. at the ARC, 1701 W. Ash. Don't miss this opportunity -- mid
Missouri artists and arts organizations need to be heard! 

SMALL REQUEST FUNDING REMINDER & FYI
The next deadline for Small Requests is Dec. 12...applications will be
for the second quarter of funding, Jan. - March. Requests may be for up
to $500 and are available only to arts organizations with 501c3 status,
though collaborations with other organizations are allowed. Call for an
application form and guidelines, 573-874-6386, or use the on-line form

ANNUAL ARTS FUNDING WORKSHOP...
Applications for the city's fiscal year '07 arts funding will be
available beginning Jan. 26. Stop by to pick up the application and meet
informally with OCA staff anytime that day, 12:30-5:30 p.m., at the
Convention and Visitors Bureau, 300 S. Providence. If you can't make
it on the 26th, contact the OCA to receive the application form and
