Office of Cultural Affairs Updates...
SMALL REQUEST FUNDING OPPORTUNITY
April marks the beginning of the third quarter of the OCA's fiscal
year, which means that Small Request applications must be received by 5
p.m. on March 10. Requests may be for up to $500 and must be from an
arts agency with 501c3 status. Applications will be reviewed and
allocations made at the Commission on Cultural Affairs' April meeting.

ANNUAL ARTS FUNDING INFO.
Applications for the city's annual arts funding process are available
at the OCA or online at www.GoColumbiaMo.com (on the Cultural Affairs
page, GoWord: GoArtsFunding). If you plan to use the online form, try
accessing and printing it soon, to be sure your computer and printer are
compatible. The deadline for the optional staff review of proposals is
April 8. The final due date for all funding applications is May 6.
Applications must be in the OCA by 5 p.m. that day. This is not a
postmark deadline; if you are mailing your application, allow additional
time for the city's mail room to process items after the Post Office
does so. Late applications cannot be considered.
ARTS ROUNDTABLE MEETING
Mark your calendar for our next Arts Roundtable...April 7, 5:30 to 7:30
p.m. at the Activity and Recreation Center (ARC),1701 W. Ash. The topic
will be fund raising for arts organizations. Michael Donovan, program
specialist with the Missouri Arts Council, will be the featured speaker.
His program will focus on seeking corporate support, organizing
successful special events and web-based giving. The session is free but
registration is required. For more information, call 573-874-6387 or
