OFFICE of CULTURAL AFFAIRS UPDATES...

SMALL REQUEST FUNDING...the next deadline for Small Request funding is
March 10. Requests may be for up to $500 and are available only to arts
organizations with 501c3 status (though collaborations are allowed).
Contact us for an application form and guidelines or use the online

ANNUAL FUNDING PROCESS...hard copies of the application form for
Education and Presentation projects are available at the OCA. Our online
form is on the web at www.GoColumbiaMo.com (search word: GoArtsFunding).
 If you missed our January 30 workshop about the process, contact us to
discuss the new form and changes to the process. 

FIRE STATION NO. 7 PERCENT FOR ART...Artists residing in the Missouri
counties of Audrain, Boone, Callaway, Cole, Cooper, Howard, Moniteau and
Randolph are invited to apply for the city’s next Percent for Art
project at Fire Station No. 7 in southwest Columbia. The budget is
$13,000. Applications must be postmarked on or before March 10. For a

FESTIVAL APPLICATIONS...help us get the word out to visual, performing
and literary artists and groups that applications for the 17th annual
Columbia Festival of the Arts are available on our web site,
wwwGoColumbiaMo.com/Arts (postmark deadline April 21). Submissions for
our Commemorative Poster competition are currently being accepted as
well (postmark deadline April 10).
