Sorry, there was a mistake in the previous agenda email. And we added a
survey request for nonprofit organizations under the arts info.
The Commission on Cultural Affairs will meet on Monday, February 13,
2012, at 4:15 p.m. in the community room of the Walton Building 300 S.
Providence Road. Please click on the link below to view the meeting

ARTS INFO.
We've Moved!...the OCA offices are now located in the Walton Building,
300 S. Providence Road. Phone numbers and email address have not
changed. Regular Commission on Cultural Affairs meetings will now be
held at the Walton Building, date and times will not change.
Annual Arts Funding Process...hard copies of the application form for
arts education and presentation projects were mailed to local arts
organizations at the end of January. Please let us know if you have not
received yours or would like to receive one. The online form can be
found at: www.GoColumbiaMo.com/Arts (look for the Funding Opportunity
link at the top of the page). If you have questions about a program
idea or any aspect of the form or process, please contact staff.
Small Request Funding...the next deadline for Small Request funding is
March 12. Requests may be for up to $750 and are available only to arts
organizations with 501c3 status; if you do not have a 501c3 you may
collaborate with an organization that does. Contact us for the
guidelines or go to www.GoColumbiaMo.com/Arts for more information and
the application form.
City Commemorative Poster...Missouri artists are invited to submit
their art work for the city's annual Commemorative Poster competition;
$1,000 honorarium. The postmark deadline is March 23. For the guidelines

opportunity link at the top of the page).
Short Street Parking Garage Percent for Art…the postmark deadline for
the Short Street project has been extended to March 16. The project
budget as also increased to $58,000. A complete prospectus and

Art Non-Profits...participate in the Non-Profit Finance Fund's (NFF)
fourth annual State of the Sector Survey. This national survey examines
the current state of the non-profit sector. Data collected during this
survey will be used to better understand important financial and
management issues facing non-profits. By completing this survey you will
help identify the most critical areas of need in both the arts and
culture sector and the non-profit sector as a whole.
The 2012 State of the Sector Survey is anonymous and takes only 10-15
minutes to complete. Results will be available in late March. The
deadline for responses is Wednesday, February 15, 2012.
