*OFFICE of CULTURAL AFFAIRS UPDATES*
*FY13 Small Request Arts Funding has been depleted*
We wish there were more funds to allocate, but are pleased that the $4,000
available in our current fiscal year went to so many worthy arts projects
and organizations. Small Request funding for FY14 should be available when
our next fiscal year begins on October 1, 2013.
*Arts Express** Newsletter is going on hiatus*
The last issue was sent out the end of April. You can still stay up-to-date
on all arts and culture events by using the online calendar on the OCA

information on how to submit your events can also be found there, as
well.
*Arts and Drafts*
A fundraising event for the Columbia Arts Foundation is set for May 23. An
art crawl, where tasting a selection of craft beers at different locations,
will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. at the following downtown galleries:
ARTlandish, Bluestem, Columbia Art League, Orr Street Studios, Poppy and
PS: Gallery. Transportation on the Tiger Trolley will be available during
the event and special entertainment at Mojo’s will take place after the
