CDBG and HOME Applications Being Accepted through April 30, 2014

(Columbia, MO) - The City of Columbia Community Development Department is
accepting FY 2015 CDBG and HOME applications through April 30, 2014, at
5:00 p.m.  The Community Development Commission will be rating applications
and providing funding recommendations to the City Council as part of the
annual funding process.  Applicants are encouraged to review the document
outlining preliminary 2015-2019 Consolidated Plan needs identified through
the City's recent Neighborhood Congress and Consolidated Plan Focus Groups
on the City's website at http://tinyurl.com/opha6fr. You may also obtain a
copy of the document by calling 573.874.6321 or visiting the Community
Development Department office in City Hall, 701 E. Broadway.

The Consolidated Plan is a document required by the Department of Housing
and Urban Development (HUD), designed to help guide communities on
directing the federal dollars they receive. The consolidated planning
process allows the public to identify the most important community needs in
Columbia.
