Attention Columbia Youth Basket-BALLERS:
It is the middle of the football season right now, that means basketball season is right around the corner. Will you be ready?
Columbia Parks & Recreation wants to make sure you are set to have your best season ever. Even if you are not playing in a league, and just want to learn more about the game, this is for you. Our Sunday Basketball Skills Mini-Camps aim to make you a smarter & more team-oriented player. The camps will also sharpen your individual skills as well.
1st & 2nd Sundays of each month are for boys ages 8-12 years.*
3rd Sundays of each month are for girls ages 8-12 years.
Upcoming Dates are:
BOYS 8-12 - 10/2, 10/9, 11/6, 11/13, 12/4, 12/11, 1/8*
GIRLS 8-12 - 10/16, 11/20, 12/18, 1/15
Each Sunday camp runs from 2:30-4:00 PM at the Armory Sports Center.
*Although 1st & 2nd Sundays are intended for boys, if girls would like some extra work, they are welcomed to attend those Sundays as well.
The cost for each Sunday is only $5. You can register as far in advance as you would like. Please call 874-7460 to register over the phone. Or, you can stop by the Downtown Parks & Recreation Office (1 S. 7th), The Armory Sports Center (701 E. Ash) or the ARC (1701 W. Ash) to register in person. There is a maximum of 20 per session, so register early.
