[cyba-l]: Columbia's Free NFL Punt, Pass & Kick Competition

[Youth Basketball]

Columbia's NFL Punt, Pass & Kick Competition is right around the corner!


Over 4 million youth across the United States participate in this free
program yearly.  The top scorer in all age and gender divisions from our
competition will advance to the sectional competition.  If you do well
enough at the sectional competition, then you have chance to advance to the
Team Championships at an NFL stadium prior to a game.  The 32 winners from
the Team Championships will advance to the national finals at an NFL
playoff game in January.



The Punt, Pass & Kick Competition is a competition for males and females
ages 6-15 in the following skills for distance and accuracy:



*Punt:  *1 chance to punt the ball as far as you can and as straight as you
can

*Pass:*  1 chance to throw the ball as far and as straight as you can

*Kick:*   1 chance to kick the ball from a tee as far and as straight as
you can


The age divisions are 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-15.  Boys and girls do not
compete against each other.  Ribbons will be awarded.  *NO CLEATS, TURFS OR
FOOTBALL SHOES ARE ALLOWED.*



Saturday, August 9 at 9:30 is the time

Cosmo Park Football Field #4 is the place


Please bring a copy of your child's birth certificate or baptismal record
when turning in registration forms to 1 S. 7th Street, The Armory Sports
Center at 701 E. Ash Street, or fax to 573-874-7640 by Thursday August 7.
