Blue Thunder Track Club Outdoor Season Registration Day is around the
corner!

Show up any time between 2:00-5:00pm

Blue Thunder is gearing up for another successful & award winning season of
sprints, middle distance, long distance, jumps, throws, hurdles, relays and
race walks for young men and women ages 6-18.  In 2015, the club earned 17
All-American crowns, 2 National Championships, and is looking to do even
better in 2016.


All skill levels are welcome.  The season will begin in April and run
through the end of July.  Meets are held in and out of town.  Qualifiers
will have the opportunity to compete in the AAU National Junior Olympic
Games in Houston, TX at the end of July.  After the outdoor season ends,
information will be provided for the cross country season.



The cost to join the club is $100.  This fee covers an AAU membership, club
t-shirt & unlimited sanction meet entries.  Cash, check and money orders
made out the Blue Thunder will be accepted.  We cannot accept credit or
debit cards.  Please bring proof of insurance as well as a copy of your
child’s birth certificate.


Registration forms can be found at Parks & Recreation offices (1 S. 7th),
the Armory Sports & Community Center or simply downloaded from the Blue
Thunder website.  Registration forms will not be accepted prior to
registration day on March 12; but can be accepted at the Armory Sports &
Community Center during business hours beginning Monday, March 14.
