Blue Thunder Track Club Outdoor Season Registration Day is around the
corner!  And participating in track & field will have you in great shape
for fall sports!

Armory Sports & Community Center (701 E. Ash)

Show any time between 2:00-5:00pm


Blue Thunder is gearing up for another successful & award winning season of
sprints, middle distance, long distance, jumps, throws, hurdles, relays and
race walks for young men and women ages 6-18.  In 2017, the club athletes
earned 4 national championships, 17 All-American crowns, 31 regional
championships and is looking to do even better in 2018.


All skill levels are welcome.  The season will begin in April and run
through the end of July.  Meets are held in and out of town.  At Summer's
end, Qualifiers will have the opportunity to compete in the AAU National
Junior Olympic Games in Des Moines, Iowa at Drake University.  After the
track season ends, information will be provided for the cross country
season.


The cost to join the club is $100.  Price includes a club tee shirt, AAU
membership, and sanctioned meets. Cash, check and money orders will be
accepted; checks are to be made out to Blue Thunder.  We cannot accept
credit or debit cards.  Please bring proof of insurance as well as a copy
of your child’s birth certificate.


Registration forms can be found at Parks & Recreation offices (1 South 7th),
the Armory Sports & Community Center or downloaded from the Blue Thunder
website <http://www.bluethundertc.shutterfly.com/>.  Registrations will not
be accepted prior to registration day on March 10.  After that date, forms
can be brought to the Armory Sports & Community Center beginning Monday,
March 12 between 8:00am-6:00pm M-F.

to share your love, knowledge and passion of the sport or running?  If so,
Blue Thunder is also looking for volunteer coaches to join our family.  If
you love the sport, kids, and want to be active, then this is for you.
