[cyfl-l]: Columbia's Free NFL Punt, Pass & Kick Competition THIS WEEKEND

[Youth Football]

Here is your reminder that Columbia's NFL Punt, Pass & Kick Competition is
this weekend!

Over 4 million youth across the United States participate in this free
program yearly.  The top scorer in all age and gender divisions from our
competition will advance to the sectional competition.  If you do well
enough at the sectional competition, then you have chance to advance to the
Team Championships at an NFL stadium prior to a game.  The 32 winners from
the Team Championships will advance to the national finals at an NFL
playoff game in January.


The Punt, Pass & Kick Competition is a competition for males and females ages
6-15 in the following skills for distance and accuracy:


PUNT:  1 chance to punt the ball as far and as straight as you can

PASS:  1 chance to throw the ball as far and as straight as you can

KICK:   1 chance to kick the ball from a tee as far and as straight as you
can


The age divisions are 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-15.  Boys and girls do not
compete against each other.  Ribbons will be awarded.  NO CLEATS, TURFS OR
FOOTBALL SHOES ARE ALLOWED.

Cosmo Park Football Field #4 is the place

Check in or walk up to register any time between 9:00 - 9:45am.
Competition begins at 10am

Please bring a copy of your child's birth certificate or baptismal record when
turning in registration forms to 1 S. 7th Street, The Armory Sports Center
at 701 E. Ash Street, or fax to 573-874-7640 by 4:00pm on Thursday August
13.
